Exceeded the low bar set by the other reviews
I was quite worried about how hard it was going to be to put the lights in these. To riff on the other review: - I have never been hit by a car, or a vehicle of any kind - I grew up in the Netherlands - I became a citizen remotely in 2020 In other words: pretty smooth sailing. This product was no different. Sure, the material is a little stiff, sure it's a little bit tricky to wiggle the light in... but you get the hang of it pretty quick if you look carefully.
Brace yourself
- I got hit by a car going 70km/h when i was 8y old and survived - I grew up in Venezuela, been assaulted/mugged twice with firearms pointed at me - Emigrated to Canada in 2014, just when the latest PM was being elected But none of that prepared me for how difficult it is to bend the lamp to fit into the hanger; without breaking anything.
Frustrating: too inflexible and too fragile.
I own three sets of these. I have managed to load each pair with a number of Sunblaster lights. Indeed I have 15 four foot long lamps. Most are LED versions. I like the lights. This strip hanger is difficult to use and far too fragile. Getting the lights to fit on strip is challenging. The inexpensive plastic is not very flexible so I had to use force to attach the lights to it. Using force risks damaging the lights. I did not damage the lights but I did manage to damage two of the hangers. The fragility of the hangers is really a problem if you want to add or remove lights. I have one set where there are 7 lights but two where there are four. Removing or rearranging the lamps held by the hanger led to damaging the hangers. I would not buy any more of these. I would be quite willing to pay more for these if they were more flexible and less fragile.
All good
All good. However, I bought a spare bottle as well. It’s doesn’t work. Can I return? I was did not take the receipt.
Difficult to snap into
I found these light strip hangers incredibly frustrating to use as they are so difficult to 'snap into' with no tips on the instructions. I broke one end trying to snap it in. I finally figured out that it's much easier to snap these in if you don't try to snap them into the ends.
Works well
Good cheap choice for multi light set ups.
