Growing organically is about growing sustainably. These nutrients are naturally sourced and contain ingredients like fish & kelp. Organic Fertilizers are normally designed to work with soil that already contains mineral nutrition or compost.
Organic top dress nutrients are typically designed to release nutrients slowly over time, and are normally added every 2-4 weeks, instead of every watering like liquid nutrients. This type of nutrient excels for outdoor growers because of its cost effectiveness and slow release function, but many indoor grower's are finding excellent results and value.
Organic liquid fertilizers are often designed assuming the grower will benefit from the macro & micro mineral content already available in the soil. The benefit of organic fertilizers is they bring organic material into the soil, which leads to an improvement of the soil's structure and microbiology.
For less experienced growers, we do not recommend using organic fertilizers with inert growing media. (Ex. Coco coir, Rockwool, Water culture, Sterilized Peat) as they are designed to be broken down by the microbiology in the growing medium.
