Effective Cal Mag additive
Advanced nutrients does a good job with this product, its on par with another Cal mag i have from a smaller canadian company. the label feed chart is a little inflated and i for sure wouldnt use this at full advertised strength but if you are growing in coco or hydro and with RO water this or a similar product is a must. im looking forward to seeing how this compares to a much cheaper version im using on another plant.
a good product
bought this halfway through my first ever indoor hydroponic grow. My veggies were dealing with calmag deficiencies the whole time, the cheap one i bought didn't do the trick. seems to work perfectly with my RO feeds and my tap water feeds. the instructions on the bottle are a bit much and once i started putting in 50% plants turned around. advanced nutrients has great products but you use a lot if you follow the instructions on the bottle. it does the job and i recommend it.
Calmag and then some
Love this product for its ease of use, doesn't mess with your PH, and if there are deficiencies I find this tends to fix 90% of them. My go to from now on
Excellent
Buffering coco coir
I placed a single CANNA Coco Coir Brick in a 5 gallon fabric pot and then into a plastic 5 gallon bucket to soak for 4 hrs and repeated this step once more. If you're using tap water at 0.3EC mine went up to 1.1EC and then I flushed the medium down to lesser than 0.4EC for seedlings. Next time I would make a small batch with filtered water to figure out the right ratio first and then make enough once you've dialed it in. Packaging and delivery is always good and the product easy to adjust to the right concentration without getting any nutrient burn while the seedling was recently transplanted to the medium.
