Crazy drifting, within a day even
I use Blumats in all of my plants and put nothing through them except treated tap water to avoid problems.. The problem with this TNB Down, on the Elmira/St-Jacobs water supply at least, is that it comes out of our tap around 8 pH and even after using around 3 grams of this product in a 5gal bucket to bring the pH to around 6.5 -- by the morning, it's already starting to creep back up! And needs to be treated, again! I really wish we could get Nitric-based pH Down in Ontario but stores can't ship it so they don't want to stock it
It works….but
This stuff dissolved great in my 32 gallon res and required very little powder to come down. However, when I tested it out both times my ph was not stable for more than 24 hours. Went from 6.4 - 7.7 in a day (tap water is 8.2 with less than 100ppm). It was nice to try but will be sticking with Cyco, I can see how this would get very expensive overtime. I ended up feeding my plants at 7.7 because I didn’t check before watering (checked right after) and had to re-adjust ph and flush with more water. Probably wouldn’t recommend it unless you REALLY need organic ph down and you don’t mind re-checking your res at every water.
TNB down
Works very well getting away from using liquid PH up or down.
Ph down
Pretty easy to use and effective
