I like the idea of these but, even though they warn that they won’t fit into the 1010 trays, they don’t fit well in the 1020s either. If I put 8 of the small 5” bottom trays into a 1020 and then these lids, the lids won’t fit properly on. Some do but most don’t, resulting in poor humidity for sprouting seeds. Back to the drawing board for these. Mine were also quite scuffed up on the sides with a film that could not be removed.
Transport protection
Will do great to protect my funsize crops to give to my family. I can't fault them because it's stated in the description, but as advertised they will only rest on the tray, they won't click and seal, so I'll need some painter's tape or something to keep it from falling over during transport. I can't speak of its usefulness as a germination tool as this is not the reason I bought it.
